RESEARCH  Procedure and fees

We regret that our extensive private collection is only accessible by our own staff and unlike Government archives we are  not able to allow you to carry out your own research. Consequently all  research is carried out by mail and  we offer the use of one of our experienced researchers who are familiar with the contents of our collection and who can quickly locate  particular items saving both time and money on the clients behalf.  Whilst most researchers charge around  fifteen to twenty pound per hour, we have tried to keep your costs to a minimum.

                Please note -All requests for research must be  paid for prior to research taking place.

Research. A charge of  £8 per hour applies whether  or not information is found but a refund will be given for any research time not used after the initial hour (when more than one hour is requested).
