Two young people from Whitby have benefited from training at Whitby Archives Centre as part of the centre's aim to bring local communities together and to increase awareness of local heritage. The  calenders have been compiled using pictures from their own collection, one using artwork painted by himself.

Whitby Archives has also produced its own calendar with historical photographs and  words of wisdom from weather folklore. A booklet of weather folklore is included with it.
